Hutchinson CC Sports Information

The Hutchinson Community College women's soccer team looks to keep pace in the Jayhawk West and take care of a milestone for head coach Sammy Lane.

The Blue Dragons travel to Pratt for a Jayhawk West matchup at 3 p.m. on Saturday in Pratt. Pratt video will provide the video stream for the match.

Lane will be vying for his 200th all-time victory since the Hutchinson soccer program started in 2005. Lane's first attempt will come against Pratt, which is coached by former Blue Dragon player Ashley Burnett, who was part of 38 of Lane's wins as a player in 2010 and 2011.

Hutchinson (6-0-1 overall) is 4-0-1 for 13 league points which is a tie for second place with Barton in the Jayhawk West. Cloud County is in first place with 15 points (5-0-0) in league play. Hutchinson and Cloud County meet for the first time this season on Wednesday at the Salthawk Sports Complex.

The Blue Dragons answered the bell with two goals in the final 13 minutes to defeat Dodge City 3-1 on Wednesday night.

Pratt is 3-5 overall after Wednesday's 13-0 loss at Barton.

The Blue Dragons are 10-0 all-time against Pratt.
