Continuing to build momentum after eight-straight wins to open the season, the No. 19-ranked Hutchinson Community College women's soccer team starts a four-match road trip on Saturday at Garden City.

Hutchinson and Garden City will kick off at 4 p.m. on Saturday at Broncbuster Stadium in the first of two Jayhawk West matches between the Blue Dragons and Broncbusters this season.

The Blue Dragons have outscored their first eight opponent 36-1 coming off a season-high eight goals in an 8-0 victory over Dodge City on Wednesday at the Salthawk Sports Complex.

Garden City has struggled in an 0-5 start, getting outscored 41-2. The Busters lost 6-0 in their last game last Saturday at Hesston College.

Before returning home on October 6, the Blue Dragons will be at Garden City on Saturday, face a crucial road test at Cloud County on Wednesday, travel to Hesston on September 30 and play at Barton on October 4.

Hutchinson freshman Brailey Moeder is the Jayhawk Conference leader in goals scored (9) and points scored (24). She is coming off her first career hat trick on Wednesday against Dodge City. Moeder is tied for second in the league in assists with 6.

Blue Dragon freshman goalkeeper Clara Bergmuller is tops in the league in fewest goals allowed with four-straight shutouts and no goals. Teammate Ashley Main is second with only one goal allowed. Bergmuller and Main are also Nos. 1 and 2 in the conference in save percentage at 1.000 and .941, respectively.
