Marked tightly for most of the match against Rose State, Hutchinson Community College freshman forward Brailey Moeder finally split the Raider defense and made it pay. With that game-winning goal against a defensive-minded Rose State team, Moeder was named the Jayhawk Conference women's soccer's Player of the Week.

The 5-foot-5 freshman forward from Hutchinson High School, Moeder made several strong runs at the net against the Raiders, but was cut off at nearly every turn. She shot only twice in the match.

With about 7 minutes remaining in the first half, Moeder cut to the goal and took a great feed from Jasmine Blindt and scored the match's only goal in a 1-0 Blue Dragon victory over Rose State.

The attempt she got on goal when past the Rose State keeper to the lower right corner of the goal for her first game-winning marker of the season. Moeder now has three goals this season.

Moeder is the second Blue Dragon to earn conference honors. Sophomore goalkeeper Ashley Main was named the conference's goalkeeper of the week in Week No. 1 after shutting out Northeast Nebraska.
