Competed all four seasons for Hooker High School and coach Jarret Kachel ... Ran for four Oklahoma State championship runner-up teams ... Finished 31st at state as a freshman (13:37), 47th as a sophomore (14:03), 39th as a junior (13:35) and 18th as a senior (13:32) ... Ran a career-best time of 12:57 as a senior ... Also competed in Basketball and Track at Hooker High School ... Earned All-District, All-Region and All-State honors in 2017, 2018 and 2019 with seven state meet medals ... Won a state championship as a member of the HHS 4x800 relay team in 2018. The 2019 4x800 relay was state runner-up and finished fourth in 2017 ... Finished fourth in the Oklahoma State High School Championships in the 1,600 meters in 2017 and seventh in 2018. Placed fifth in the 800 meters in 2018. Also ran for a fourth-place 4x400 relay team in 2018 ... Played on three Oklahoma district championship basketball teams ... A member of Who's Who, Principal's Honor Roll and National Honor Society.
