Hutchinson CC Sports Information

Off to a 3-0 start, the Hutchinson Community College women's soccer team plays its 2022 home opener on Sunday at the Salthawk Sports Complex.

The Blue Dragons will face the Western Wyoming Mustangs at 2 p.m. on Sunday at the Salthawk Sports Complex.

Earlier on Sunday, at 10 a.m., Western Wyoming will take on the Allen Red Devils. Both matches will be streamed on the Blue Dragon Sports Network.

The Blue Dragons look for their first 4-0 start to a season since 2017. Hutchinson is 14-3 all-time in home openers.

Hutchinson enters Sunday after an impressive 3-1 Jayhawk Conference victory on Wednesday at Kansas City. Last week in Sterling, Colorado, the Blue Dragons defeated Western Nebraska 3-2 and Northeastern Junior College 4-3 in double overtime.

The reigning Jayhawk West Player of the Year, Hadlie Lowe is Hutchinson's leading scorer through three games with five goals and 15 points. Lowe has one game-winning goal. This season. Adriana Delgado and Emma Scholl have the other game winners.

Sophomore goalkeepers Olivia Felix-Cardona and Madison Quarles have split time this season. Felix-Cardona is 2-0, while Quarles as the double-OT win over NJC.

Sunday's meeting with Western Wyoming will be the third all-time between the Blue Dragons and Mustangs. Hutchinson is 2-0 vs. Western Wyoming, winning 11-3 in Hutchinson in 2014 and 1-0 in Rock Springs, Wyoming last season.
