Hutchinson Community College women's soccer freshman forward Hadlie Lowe received national attention on Wednesday after back-to-back seven-point games last week.

One day after receiving Jayhawk Conference Player of the Week honors, the NJCAA named Lowe the Division I Women's Soccer National Player of the Week.

Lowe is the first Blue Dragon player to earn National Player of the Week honors since Jen Rogers in 2014. She is the second Blue Dragon this season to receive a national weekly award. Freshman goalkeeper Olivia Felix-Cardona was named the NJCAA Division I National Goalkeeper of the Week in the opening week of the season.

Last week in victories over Dodge City and Neosho County, Lowe had consecutive hat tricks. Her back-to-back three-goal, one-assist performances have her four hat tricks for the season and her seventh and eighth game-winning goals of the season.

Lowe tied Melissa Hetherington (2011) for the Blue Dragon single-season record for game-winning goals.

For the season, Lowe has 18 goals and three assist for 39 points. She ranks second in the KJCCC in goals scored, third in points scored and first in game-winning goals. In the NJCAA, Lowe ranks sixth in goals, eighth in points and first in game-winning goals.
