GOODLAND – Megan Maslak and two goals and Brailey Moeder added a goal and an assist to lead the Hutchinson Community College women's soccer team to a dominating 7-0 Jayhawk West victory on Wednesday.

The road win is the first for Hutchinson this season, which improves to 3-0 (1-0 Jayhawk West) heading into Saturday's Jayhawk West home showdown with Barton.

The Blue Dragons dominated possession from the outset, outshooting Northwest Tech 20-1 on a slow field.

Maslak, who now has a team-high seven goals, score in each half to lead the Blue Dragons.

Moeder scored Hutch's first goal in the 13th minute. She now has four goals, including a pair of game-winning goals.

Hailey Burke, Cameron Rodriguez, Sydney Blackwell and Alix Miller also scored goals for Hutchinson. Jenna Boese and Naomi Waithira had the only other assists.

Freshman goalkeeper Taylor Camp (2-0) worked her second-straight shutout with one save.

Moeder's goal to start a four-goal first half came in the 13th minute and was unassisted.

Roughly 5 minutes later, Rodriguez scored her first goal of the season with an assists from Waithira for a 2-0 lead.

Burke hammered her first goal of the season home in the 24th minute on a Boese assist to make it 3-0.

Maslak scored her first of the game in the 42nd minute for a 4-0 lead. Maslak's goal was unassisted.

Blackwell scored her fourth goal of the season unassisted to start the second half.

Miller scored her first career goal 7 minutes later off a Moeder assist.

Maslak scored her second of the game unassisted in the 85th minute.
