Hutchinson Community College right-side hitter Tiana Simmons had her best overall week and a Blue Dragon last week and was named the KJCCC Division I Volleyball Player of the Week on Tuesday.

Simmons, a 5-foot-10 right-side hitter from Stilwell, Kansas, led the Blue Dragons to a 5-1 week.

Over the six matches and 20 sets played, Simmons hit .313 and averaged 3.85 kills per set.

She had two double-doubles with 18 kills and 11 digs vs. the McPherson JV and 10 kills and 10 digs vs. Pratt. Five of Simmons' six matches were double-figure kill totals for Simmons.

Simmons averaged 2.45 digs and 0.85 blocks per set last week.
