PRATT – Sophomores Zoe Schmidt and Kristina Head and freshman Andrea Serrano all had double-doubles on Saturday to lift the Hutchinson Community College volleyball team to a four-set Jayhawk West victory over Pratt at the Dennis Lesh Sports Arena.

After splitting the first two sets, the Blue Dragons rolled to a 25-16, 27-29, 25-17, 25-17 over the Beavers.

The Blue Dragons improved to 18-14 overall and 7-8 in the Jayhawk West. Hutchinson has a non-conference match at 6 p.m. on Monday against Neosho County before closing out the regular season with Sophomore Night against Barton at 6 p.m. Wednesday. Both upcoming matches will be at the Sports Arena.

Schmidt had a match-high 14 kills and 11 digs to lead the Blue Dragons. She added a block assist.

Head had 11 kills and 11 digs. The sophomore had three total blocks, including two solo blocks and had two service aces.

Serrano had 37 assists and 11 digs for her double-double. Serrano also had a match-high four service aces.

Freshman Morgan Harvey was the other Blue Dragon to reach double figures in kills with 10.

Sophomore libero Rachel Easom had a strong match with a team-high 14 digs. She added four assists and three service aces.
