Fresh off an upset of the No. 4 team in the country, the Hutchinson Community College volleyball team is back at home on Wednesday and returns to conference play when the Butler Grizzlies come to the Sports Arena for a 6:30 p.m. match.

The match will be streamed live on the Blue Dragon Sports Network. Updated will also be carried on Twitter (@bluedragonsport).

Now receiving votes in the latest NJCAA Division I Volleyball Rankings, the Blue Dragons enter Wednesday's match as one of three unbeaten teams in Jayhawk West play. Hutchinson (7-4 overall) is tied atop the league standings with No. 9 Seward County and Colby (the Blue Dragons' opponent on the road Saturday) with 3-0 records.

Right behind that lead pack are the 7-4 Grizzlies, who are 2-1 in the West so far. Butler swept Garden City on Monday in El Dorado, its third victory in the last four outings.

The Blue Dragons come in hitting .260 with 1.91 service aces, 13.21 digs and 1.69 blocks per set.

In their 3-0 win over previous No. 4 Salt Lake last week in Twin Falls, Idaho, the Dragons hit .274 and improved that to .427 in a sweep of Northwest College.

Winning back-to-back Jayhawk West Player of the Week awards, sophomore outside hitter Page Hiebert leads the team and the Jayhawk West with 4.18 kills per set on .308 hitting.

Sophomore setter Katie Jorn flourished when the Blue Dragons went to a 5-1 offense before the Salt Lake make and broke the 30-assist mark twice and posted a double-double in two Blue Dragon wins in Idaho. For the season, Jorn is averaging 6.56 assists, 1.82 digs and 0.41 aces per set.

Sophomore Patricia Joseph is the team's leading blocker at 0.83 blocks per set. Freshman Raychel Reed is the top back-row player at 3.31 digs per set. Claira Creach is at 2.46 digs per set.

Butler is hitting .211 as a team, but has put up a potent block at 3.08 rejections per set, which leads the Jayhawk West.

Brooke Fender leads the Grizzlies at 2.59 kills per set on .225 hitting. Aliyah Bernard is at 2.37 kills on .379 hitting. Fender averages 1.00 blocks per set and Bernard is at 0.87 blocks per set.
