Hutchinson Community College sophomore outside hitter Page Hiebert hit better than .400 with more than four kills per set and was named the Jayhawk Conference's Division I Player of the Week.

The 6-foot sophomore from Goessel led the Blue Dragons to a 2-0 week, both Jayhawk West victories.

Hiebert hit .404 in sweeps over Garden City and Cloud County last week with 25 kills and only four attack errors in 52 swings. She averaged 4.17 kills per set.

Hiebert also average 2.83 digs, 0.83 blocks and 0.67 aces per set. She hit a season-high .480 in the Blue Dragons' home opener against Garden City.

This is the first time that Hiebert has one a Jayhawk Conference Player of the Week honor.
