Hutchinson CC Sports Information

The Hutchinson Community College women's soccer team faces its first road trip of the 2018 season on Saturday when the Blue Dragons travel to Trinidad State Junior College.

The match will kick off at 1 p.m. CT on Saturday. A live videostream will be provided by Trinidad State video.

Both teams are 1-0 to start the season. The Blue Dragons defeated Northeast Nebraska 6-0 on Wednesday at the Salthawk Sports Complex. Trinidad State earned a 3-1 road victory on Wednesday at Dodge City.

Blue Dragon sophomore Megan Maslak had career highs of four goals and nine points to lead the Blue Dragons. Sydney Blackwell added a pair of goals and an assist. Hutchinson dominated the match. The Dragons out-shot Northeast 26-5. Goalkeeper Taylor Camp made two saves in her Blue Dragon debut.

Hannah Day, Jade Glasser and Ashlee Minne scored goals for Trinidad State in its opener against Dodge City. Trojan goalkeeper Cambri Curtis had three saves and one goal allowed.

Saturday's matchup wills the just the second between Hutchinson and Trinidad State. The Blue Dragons won that meeting last season at the Salthawk Sports Complex 6-0. Maslak and Brailey Moeder each scored a goal in that 2017 match against the Trojans.
