Hutchinson holds an 88-11 all-time record against Pratt, the most wins over any single opponent in Blue Dragon women's basketball history. The Dragons have won 19 consecutive games over Pratt.

The Blue Dragons come off two-straight nail-biters over Cowley and Butler to extend their overall winning streak to 52 games and conference win streak to 37 games.

The four-point win over Butler on Wednesday in El Dorado was the 498th win in head coach John Ontjes' Blue Dragon career.

Sophomore Hailey Jackson had 17 points and sophomore Madi Denison had eight points and a season-high 11 rebounds against the Grizzlies on Wednesday. Jackson hit three clutch free throws in the final minute and Denison scored with 58 seconds to play in the second half to give the Blue Dragons the lead for good.

Hutchinson is now 4-0 in games decided by five points or less this season.

Pratt has dropped two games in a row after reaching the .500 mark through 12 games for first-year head coach Christopher Jefferson. The Beavers lost at Coffeyville on Wednesday 70-44. This is the second in a run of six-straight KJCCC upper-division opponents for the Beavers.

Hutchinson's defense continues to shine this season. The Blue Dragons have let only one opponent reach 70 points this season and only two opponents have been able to break 40 percent against Hutchinson. The Dragons rank eighth in the NJCAA in scoring defense at 48.7 points per game allowed.
