The No. 1-ranked Hutchinson Community College women's basketball team plays its first game in the Hutchinson Sports Arena in 17 days Tuesday night.
The Blue Dragons (8-0, 2-0 KJCCC) play host to the Colby Trojans (6-2, 1-1 KJCCC) at 5:30 p.m.
The game will be broadcast live on Blue Dragon flagship station KHUT-FM (102.9) and on sister stations KWBW-AM/FM (1450/98.5) beginning at 5:15 p.m. CT with Sean Boston (play-by-play) and Dan Naccarato (analysis) calling the action. The game will be streamed on the Blue Dragon Sports Network at 5:15 p.m.

The last time the Blue Dragons were on their home floor was November 9 when they held on to defeat now-No. 24-ranked Murray State 69-68. Since that game, the Blue Dragons have won four games in a row away from the Sports Arena by an average of 30.5 points.
The Blue Dragons extended their program-record winning streak to 45 games and KJCCC winning streak to 30 with a dominant 88-35 victory over Fort Hays Tech Northwest on Saturday in Goodland.
Sophomore forward Hailey Jackson posted her fourth double-double of the season with 15 points and 10 rebounds to lead Hutchinson, which shot a season-high 55.0 percent. The Blue Dragon defense had its best overall game of the season, holding the Tigers to 10 total field goals and 20-percent shooting while forcing 20 turnovers.
Colby enters play on Tuesday after suffering its first league loss, 60-51 to Coffeyville on Saturday at the Colby Event Center. Ishante Suttington led the Trojans with 17 points. The Trojans were held to 32.1 percent shooting by the Red Ravens.
Colby is off to its best start since 2006 when the Trojans started that season 11-0. Colby opened the conference season with a 70-31 victory over Independence. Colby is 2-2 vs. NJCAA Division I teams this season.
Both head coaches in Tuesday's game reside in the all-time Top 10 in KJCCC coaching victories. Hutchinson head coach John Ontjes is second in league history with 491 KJCCC wins. Second-year Colby coach Darin Spence is eighth with 353 wins. Spence has coached at Butler, Cowley, Barton and Colby.
