Hutchinson CC Sports Information

The No. 1-ranked Hutchinson Community College women's basketball team plays host to the BSN Sports Tip-Off Classic, the first of two classics on the schedule this weekend at the Hutchinson Sports Arena.

Hutchinson (2-0) will play the Tabor College JV on Friday and Murray State (3-0) on Saturday. Both games are scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Barton is the fourth team in the tournament.

All four BSN Classic women's games will be streamed live on the Blue Dragon Sports Network.

The Blue Dragons extended their overall winning streak to 39 games and home-court winning streak to 17 games on Tuesday with a wild 122-70 victory over Neosho County.

Sophomore Hailey Jackson had her second-straight double-double with career highs of 30 points and 14 rebounds to lead the Blue Dragons, who forced a team single-game record 46 turnovers along with single-game records 42 free throws, 58 free-throw attempts and 192 combined points.

Friday's opponent, the Tabor JV, is the only KCAC junior varsity program on the schedule this season. Saturday's foe, Murray State, is off to a 3-0 start. Murray State plays Mountain View on Friday..

The Blue Dragons are 4-0 all-time in the BSN Sports Tipoff Classic.
