After a successful season opener on Friday in Oklahoma, the defending national champion and preseason No. 1 ranked Hutchinson Community College women's basketball team is set for its home opener on Tuesday.
The Blue Dragons (1-0) will play host to KJCCC Division II foe Neosho County in a 5:30 p.m. matchup at the Hutchinson Sports Arena.

Sophomore Hailey Jackson posted her second-career double-double and fellow sophomore Kahlen Norris had a career-high offensive output in a 79-45 season-opening victory on Friday at Northern Oklahoma-Tonkawa.
Jackson had 17 points and 12 rebounds to lead the Blue Dragons, who shot 36.0 percent had 10 rebounds. Norris had a career-best three 3-pointers and finished with a career-high 14 points in the Blue Dragons' season-opening win.
The Blue Dragons take on a fast-paced Neosho County team that scored a nation's high 136 points in a 136-72 victory over the McPherson College Junior Varsity on Monday night.
Jiyani Thompson scored 35 points, hitting 9 of 11 3-point goals to lead five Panther players in double figures. Neosho County hit 19 3-pointers in 46 attempts, dished out 40 assists, forced 56 turnovers while committing 38 turnovers of their own. The Panthers, who press 94 feet for 40 minutes, had 31 steals in the game.
Tuesday's matchup will be the 31st all-time meeting between Hutchinson and Neosho County. The Blue Dragons lead the all-time series 28-2 with nine wins in a row,
The Blue Dragons have been nearly unbeatable in their home openers in program history. Hutchinson is 45-5 in openers over the program's first 50 seasons. The Blue Dragons have won nine-straight home openers.
The Blue Dragons are riding a 17-game home court winning streak, which is the eighth longest win streak at the Sports Arena in team history.
