Hutchinson Community College women's basketball sophomore guard Alicia Brown has signed with Rogers State University.

Brown, a 5-foot-8 guard from Leavenworth, is the first Blue Dragon from the sophomore class of 2018 to sign with a four-year program. She is the 29th player to move onto a four-year program in the John Ontjes era.

Brown played in 69 games for the Blue Dragons in 2016-17 and 2017-18. The Blue Dragons won the Jayhawk Conference championship and Region VI crown in 2017. Brown was part of two NJCAA Tournament-qualifying teams as the 2018 Blue Dragons were an at-large selection.

Brown scored 582 points, averaging 8.4 points per game, in her two seasons with the Blue Dragons. He averaged 9.9 points per game in her sophomore season.

Brown was a 43.4 percent shooter from the field. She averaged 4.0 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 0.9 steals and 0.4 blocked shots in 24.6 minutes per game.

The Blue Dragon guard scored a game-high 21 points twice in her career. She had a career-high 12 rebounds twice, five assists twice, four steals and two blocked shots twice.

Rogers State is an NCAA Division II Program located in Claremore, Oklahoma, and plays in the Heartland Conference.
