Hutchinson Community College sophomore first baseman Aspen Goetz became the program's career and single-season home run leader and single-season RBI leader with another incredible week for No. 14 Hutchinson last week.

For the second time this season, Goetz was named the Jayhawk Conference Division I Softball Player of the Week on Tuesday.

In four games against Seward County and Pratt, the sophomore from Rose Hill, Kansas, was 9 for 14 (.643 batting average) with two doubles, six home runs and 20 RBIs.

With a grand slam against Seward County in Game 2 on April 27, Goetz broke the aforementioned school records.

The nine RBIs in Game 2 is also second in Blue Dragon single-game history. She now owns the Nos. 1 and 2 all-time single-game records for RBIs for the Blue Dragons.

For the season, Goetz is hitting .484 with 19 home runs and 90 RBIs, which is No. 4 in the NJCAA.

Goetz is the sixth Blue Dragon to earn KJCCC Player of the Week honors. Four pitchers have earned KJCCC Pitcher of the Week honors.

Goetz won her first KJCCC Player of the Week honor on March 21 and was also named the NJCAA National Player of the week for that week's games.
