Hutchinson CC Sports Information
With the spring men's golf season less than two weeks away, the Hutchinson Community College Blue Dragons start the 2023 season ranked No. 1 in both national polls, which were released this week.
The two-time defending national championship Blue Dragons are No. 1 in both the Golfweek/Bushnell Rankings and the NJCAA Division I Coaches Rankings.
The Blue Dragons had three Top 5 team finishes in four fall tournaments that were primarily NCAA Division I and Division II fields. The Dragons finished second at the NJCAA National Preview in Newton, second at the Proal Classic in Amarillo, Texas and fourth at the Shocker Open in Wichita.
Blue Dragon All-American Dominic Clemons continues to rank No. 1 in the GolfStat Player rankings. Fellow sophomore Blake Saffell is ranked No. 5 and freshman Alex Lindstrom is ranked No. 8.
The Blue Dragons will open the 2023 spring season in St. Charles, Missouri for the Lindenwood on March 13-14.
