MONKEY ISLAND, Okla. – Sophomore Cole Gritton had an even-round 72 in the second round on Monday, but overall it was a tough day for the Nos. 6/8 Hutchinson Community College Men's Golf team on Monday at the Missouri Southern Classic at Shangri La Golf Club.

The Blue Dragons shot rounds of 312 and 308 to finish at 612, which is 16th,which is 39 strokes behind team leader Central Oklahoma.

Gritton and freshman individual player Max Smith are both tied for 34th place after two rounds to lead the Blue Dragons.

Gritton opened with an 80 on Monday morning, but shot even-par 72 to finish at 152. Smith also had rounds of 80 and 72.

Sophomore Matt Percy is tied for 54th at 155 around rounds of 78 and 77.

Douglas Rios-Ceballos had a pair of 79s and is tied for 67th at 158.

Joseph O'Neill is also at 158 after two rounds after rounds of 76 and 82.

Andrew Rios-Ceballos had rounds of 79 and 80 and is tied for 70th at 159.

The final round will be Tuesday morning.
