
Hutchinson CC Sports Information
After completing a 19-11 season and a four-place finish in the Jayhawk Conference, the Hutchinson Community College men's basketball team earned the No. 4 overall seed for the 12-team Region 6 Tournament, which begins on Saturday around the state.
The Blue Dragons earn an opening-round bye on Saturday and will play host to the Butler/Pratt winner at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Pratt (11-19) plays at Butler (20-10) at 4 p.m. on Saturday at El Dorado.
Tickets for that game go on sale at 8 a.m. on Monday, March 11. All Blue Dragon season ticket holders who want their seats for the game can purchase those tickets on Monday from 8 a.m. to Noon and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday. Fans who aren't season ticket holders can purchase general admission tickets and non-sold regular-season reserved seats during those times as well. All remaining tickets will be available when the gates open at 5 p.m. on Tuesday.

The Blue Dragons and Butler tied for fourth in the final KJCCC Division I standings with 15-9 records. The Blue Dragons earned the fourth seed and the opening-round bye after sweeping the Grizzlies 73-70 on January 6 in El Dorado and 64-63 on February 22 at the Sports Arena.
Hutchinson swept Pratt this season 87-77 on January 11 in Pratt and 65-59 on February 26 in Hutchinson.
Top-seed Cowley is in Hutchinson's half of the bracket. The Tigers will play the Dodge City/Fort Hays Tech Northwest winner on Tuesday in Arkansas City.
The semifinals and finals of the 2025 Region 6 Tournament will be played at Gross Memorial Coliseum on the campus of Fort Hays State University on March 14-15.
The Blue Dragons are 145-53 all-time in the Region 6 Tournament. The Dragons bid for their 21st all-time regional title and the first since 2015.
