Hutchinson CC Sports Information

The Hutchinson Community College men's basketball team climbed four spots to No. 15 in Monday's latest NJCAA Division I Rankings.

Now 18-3 overall after victories over Colby and Independence, the Blue Dragons made the second-biggest upward jump in the poll this week behind Triton's jump of nine spots to No. 6.

The Blue Dragons travel to Pratt on Wednesday and plays host to Cloud County for Hutchinson's annual Pink-Out game on Saturday at the Sports Arena.

South Plains remained the unanimous selection for No. 1. Mineral Area was second, followed by Barton, Daytona State and new no. 5 Vincennes University.

Cowley suffered a two-point loss to Barton, but remained No. 10 in the rankings this week. Butler jumped two spots to No. 22.

Former Blue Dragon non-conference opponent NEO moved up two slots to No. 22 this week.

The Blue Dragons have now been ranked for 10-consecutive polls.
