Last year's national champion, Northwest Florida State, was tapped No. 1 in the poll following a 2022 national title game victory win over Salt Lake, who is ranked fifth. Northwest Florida State received 12 first-place votes. Second-ranked Florida Southwestern State earned one first-place vote. Indian Hills is ranked third.
