Hutchinson Community College freshman guard Josh Baker did a little of everything for the No. 6-ranked Blue Dragons in their lone game of the week, a 90-75 win over Cloud County.

Baker was named the Jayhawk Conference Men's Division I Basketball Player of the Week on Tuesday.

Baker, a 6-foot-3 guard from Tempe, Arizona, scored 16 points with seven rebounds, six assists, two steals and a blocked shot in the victory for the 12-1 and fifth-ranked Blue Dragons.

Baker hit 4 of 7 overall shots, nailing 2 of 3 3-pointers and was a perfect 6 of 6 at the free-throw line. Baker is currently ranked No. in the KJCCC in 3-point percentage (64.3 percent), second in free-throw percentage (93.6 percent), seventh in field-goal percentage (61.5 percent) and 11th in overall scoring at 15.2 points per game.

Baker is the third Blue Dragon to win the conference's weekly honor. He joins Tyler Brown (Week 2) and Saquan Singleton (Week 3) as Blue Dragons who won weekly honors.

Baker is now eligible for NJCAA National weekly honors. That award will be announced on Wednesday.
