Hutchinson Community College sophomore Saquan Singleton showed a tremendous all-around game in leading the No. 7 Blue Dragons to three impressive victories last week.

On Tuesday, the Bronx, New York, product was named the Jayhawk Conference Men's Division I Basketball Player of the Week.

Singleton is the second-straight Blue Dragon to capture weekly KJCCC honors. Last week, sophomore guard Tyler Brown was named the league's player of the week.

Singleton had a triple-double with 14 points, 13 rebounds and 11 assists in a victory over NEO on November 12. He added a double-double with 11 points and a career-best 13 assists in a 21-point victory over Iowa Western on Saturday in Great Bend.

For the week, the Blue Dragon sophomore averaged 9.3 points, 9.0 rebounds, 9.3 assists and 1.7 steals in 31.3 minutes per game.

The triple-double is only the fifth recorded triple-double in Blue Dragon history.

Singleton is now eligible for NJCAA National Player of the Week honors. That award will be announced on Wednesday.
