Hutchinson Community College men's basketball sophomore James Rojas is the first 2019 sophomore to secure a spot at the next level of his playing career.
Rojas, who is from Jamestown, New York, will return to the Empire State to complete his collegiate career after signing in the early period with the University of Buffalo.
Rojas is a 6-foot-7 forward who is off to a solid start with the Blue Dragons this season.
Through five games, Rojas is averaging 18.0 points shooting 59.0 percent from the floor. Rojas as hit 4 of 11 3-pointers and is shooting 87.5 percent from the free-throw line.
Rojas is the first Blue Dragon to sign with the University of Buffalo.
