Hutchinson Community College sophomore forward James Rojas had three big games in three wins for the No. 9-ranked Blue Dragons and was named the Jayhawk Conference Men's Division I Player of the Week
A 6-foot-8 sophomore from Jamestown, New York, Rojas averaged 22.3 points, shooting 62.5 percent from the field in just an average of 20 minutes per game in wins over NOC-Enid, Spring Creek Academy and Redlands, all three of those wins came on the road.
Rojas also averaged 5.3 rebounds and 1.67 steals while hitting 14 of 16 free throws.
He scored a career-high 28 points on 10 of 14 shooting, 7 of 8 from the foul line, in a 117-85 win over Redlands on Saturday.
