The Top 10 of this week's NJCAA Division I Football Rankings remained unchanged. That meant the Hutchinson Community College football team maintained its hold on the No. 1 ranking.
The Blue Dragons (7-0) defeated No. 12 Coffeyville 40-17 on the road Saturday to extend their KJCCC winning streak to 21 games and its win streak in true road games to 18 games.
This is the 42nd consecutive poll the Dragons have been ranked, which is the second-longest run in the rankings in program history. The Blue Dragon record for consecutive weeks ranked in the polls is 45, which was set from 2010 to 2013.

This is the sixth time the Blue Dragons have been ranked No. 1 in the NJCAA polls in program history. The Dragons have been ranked No. 1 in 36 of the past 62 polls and have been ranked in the nation's Top 3 for 37 consecutive polls.
Now 4-0 against nationally ranked opponents, the Blue Dragons will square off against another ranked opponent this week in No. 13 Butler (3-3) at noon on Saturday at Gowans Stadium.
Behind Hutchinson, Iowa Western is No. 2, Georgia Military is No. 3, Snow College is No. 4 and Garden City is No. 5.
Despite losses, Butler and Coffeyville remained ranked at Nos. 13 and 15, respectively. Dodge City is receiving votes.
After a two-week road trip, the Blue Dragons are home for two-straight games with Butler on Saturday and Highland on Nov. 9.
