34 BLUE DRAGONS SIGN WITH FOUR-YEAR PROGRAMS

A total of 34 Blue Dragon football players from the 2022 season have signed letters of intent to play at four-year programs next season.

A total of 34 Hutchinson Community College football players from the 2022 NJCAA national runner-up team have signed letters of intent to play at four-year institutions through the December and February signing periods.

The breakdown of levels of play of the 34 Blue Dragons players are: Power 5 schools – 13; Other FBS schools – 12; FCS schools – 4; NCAA Division II school – 5.

Through his first three seasons as the Blue Dragon head coach, Drew Dallas now has produced 104 players who have been placed at four-year programs, including 32 players to Power 5 programs.

The 2022 Blue Dragons won the Jayhawk Conference championship and an NJCAA National Playoff semifinal over Coffeyville before falling to Iowa Western in the national championship game. The Blue Dragons tied a single-season record for wins, going 11-1 this past season.
