Hutchinson CC Sports Information
Between the early signing period in December and Wednesday's traditional National Letter of Intent Day, 33 Hutchinson Community College football players signed letters of intent to move onto four-year programs.
Blue Dragon head coach Rion Rhoades released the list of Blue Dragons moving on Wednesday.
Of the 33 players, 16 have signed on at Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) programs. Four more signed on with Football Championship subdivision programs, seven more with NCAA Division II programs and six more with NAIA programs.
The group of 33 is the largest groups Rhoades has had sign in any single season.
The Blue Dragons had two Power-5 signees in defensive lineman Devonte Wyatt and linebacker Quen Head. Wyatt signed with Georgia and Head selected Louisville.
Through Rhoades' first 11 seasons with the Blue Dragons, a total of 215 players have moved on to four-year programs, an average of 19.5 per season. Forty-eight players have moved onto Power 5 conferences and 56 more to other FBS programs.
