Hutchinson Community College second baseman Logan Sartori capped an impressive week off by being named the Jayhawk Conference Baseball Player of the Week.

Sartori, a freshman from Lincoln, Nebraska, hit .542 in five games last week and tied a Blue Dragon single-game record for RBIs.

The record came in a 3-for-3 game with two two-run doubles and a three-run home run in a 14-10 victory over Butler on March 16 at Hobart-Detter Field.

Sartori slugged 1.167 and had an on-base percentage of .560. He was 6 for 6 in stolen bases. Sartori hit in all five games last week, including multi-hit games in four. He tied a season high with four hits in a 28-24 victory over North Iowa Area at Hobart-Detter Field.

Sartori enters play on Thursday at Barton with a .467 batting average.
