Hutchinson CC Sports Information
The Hutchinson Community College women's soccer team remained No. 10 in the latest NJCAA Division I Rankings, which were released on Monday.
The Blue Dragons (11-1-3 overall, 8-1-3 KJCCC) went 2-0 last week with a 2-1 victory over Dodge City at home and a 1-0 road victory at then-No. 18 Butler.
Hutchinson is in the midst of their second stretch of games this season where it plays four ranked opponents in a five-game span. This week the Blue Dragons play host to unranked Coffeyville and then travels to No. 7 Barton in a battle between the top two teams in the Jayhawk Conference.
The Blue Dragons and Barton are two of four Jayhawk Conference teams ranked in this week's poll. Kansas City is No. 14 and Cowley is No. 16 this week. Those teams are Hutchinson's next two opponents after Saturday's game against Barton. Butler is receiving votes this week.
Iowa Western remains atop the national rankings and has been there every week this season. No. 2 Seminole State and No. 3 Tyler swap spots from last week. Daytona State is No. 4 and Salt Lake is No. 5
The Blue Dragons have now been ranked in 12 consecutive ranking periods.
