Hutchinson Community College freshman guard Kiki Smith was named the Jayhawk Conference Division I Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the third time this season on Tuesday.

Smith, a 5-foot-7 freshman from Topeka, had career highs of 33 points and six 3-pointers as part of a huge week for the now No. 1-ranked Blue Dragons.

Smith had her first career 30-point game on a 92-62 win at Pratt last Wednesday. She hit 12 of 17 total shots and 6 of 11 from 3-point range against the Beavers. Smith added six rebounds, three assists and two steals.

Smith followed that with 20 points and four steals a zgainst Cloud County in a 93-63 win.

For the week, the Jayhawk Conference's third-leading scorer averaged 25.0 points, 4.5 rebounds 3.0 steals and 2.0 assists. She shot 63.6 percent and hit 8 of 18 from 3-point range. Smith surpassed the 400-point mark of the season.

The Blue Dragon guard was also named KJCCC Player of the Week on November 14 and on December 12.

Smith is the fourth-leading scorer in the Jayhawk Conference at 17.7 points per game.
