OKLAHOMA CITY – For a brief moment on Tuesday, the Hutchinson Community College men's golf team led the Broncho Invitational.

The No. 3-ranked Blue Dragons wound up third in the 14-team, 36-hole tournament on Tuesday at Gaillardia Country Club. Hutchinson shot a second-straight team round of 302 to finished at 604, three strokes behind team co-champion Southwestern Christian University and Oklahoma City University.

Sophomore Harry Crockett led the Blue Dragons on Tuesday with an even-par round of 72. The Blue Dragons also counted scores from Ben Partridge (74), Addison Alonzo (77) and Dominic Clemons (78).

Crockett wound up being the low scorer for the Blue Dragons, tying for fifth with a 36-hole total of 146.

Partridge carded a 3-over round of 75 to tie for sixth at 147. Partridge shot a 72 on Monday.

Alonzo tied for third at 155. Clemons tied for 38th at 156.

Freshman Blake Saffell shot an 81 on Tuesday and closed with a 156, which tied for 52nd.

Individual player Finn Nelson rebounded from a rough Monday with a 79 on Tuesday and finished tied for 75th at 172.

Oklahoma State's Tiger Christensen won the individual title with a 6-under 138.

The Blue Dragons will next be in action at the TankLogix Intercollegiate on March 15-16 in Midland, Texas.
