For the seventh-straight week, the Hutchinson and Iowa Western football teams remain the Nos. 1 and 2 in the NJCAA National Rankings.
There was a lot of shaking up, though, after the Blue Dragons and Reivers this week.
With No. 3 Iowa Central and No. 4 Mississippi Gulf Coast both falling, this week's NJCAA Division I Football Rankings had quite a shakeup.
For the sixth-straight week, the Blue Dragons received 9 of 10 first-place votes with Iowa Western getting the other vote. The Blue Dragons (6-0) and Reivers (7-0) were both off on Saturday.
The remainder of the Top 5 has Kilgore, Trinity Valley and Jones.
Butler jumped five spots from No. 12 to No. 7 with a dominant victory over Iowa Central. Iowa Central dropped six spots to ninth and Dodge City re-entered the Top 15 at No. 4.
The polls could see another seismic shakeup next week as No. 2 Iowa Western travels to No. 7 Butler and No. 4 Trinity Valley plays at No. 3 Kilgore.
The Blue Dragons play host to Garden City at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Gowans Stadium.
The Blue Dragons have now been ranked in 24 consecutive ranking periods.
