Hutchinson Community College freshman outfielder A.J. Mustow played a big role in the Blue Dragon baseball team's 5-0 week last week and was named the Jayhawk West Player of the Week on Tuesday.

Mustow, a 6-foot-4 freshman from Sydney, Australia, hit safely in all five games and drove in runs in 4 of 5 games to lead the Blue Dragons.

Mustow hit .550 for the week with four doubles, two home runs and 11 RBIs.

Mustow hit a key two-run home run in Hutchinson's 3-0 win in Game 3 of the Garden City series. He had a season-high four hits in the Dragons 19-9 win in Game 2 over the Busters.

Mustow had his first multi-home run game of the season with a pair of homers and four RBIs against the Sterling College JV. Mustow also had key outfield assist in throwing out a runner at the plate in the Dragons' 3-0 win over Garden City.

Mustow's weekly honor is the fourth time a Blue Dragon has been named a Jayhawk West Player of Pitcher of the Week this season. Will Edmunson has been named the Player of the Week twice this season and Gus McKay was a Pitcher of the Week.
