The Hutchinson Community College Volleyball team returns home on Wednesday to meet the Dodge City Conquistadors on "Dig Pink Night."

The Blue Dragons (19-8, 6-1 Jayhawk West) and Conquistadors (14-4, 3-2) tip off at 6 p.m. at the Hutchinson Sports Arena.

The Blue Dragons make their first attempt at their 20th victory of the season, the first 20-win season since 2018.

Hutchinson opened the 2022 Jayhawk West season with a 3-0 victory over the Conquistadors August 24 in Dodge City. The Blue Dragons hit .395 with 10 kills from Alejandra Briseno and eight kills from Baylee Miller.

Dodge City was held to .088 hitting. Three different players had 10 or more kills.

The Conquistadors have won five matches in a row and are 9-1 in their last 10 matches.

The Blue Dragons are tied with Butler for second place, just 0.5 game behind first-place Seward County. Dodge City is fourth in the league at 3-2.
