One game after moving into a tie for first place in the Jayhawk West, the Hutchinson Community College Women's Soccer team looks to stay there on Saturday with a home matchup against the Garden City Broncbusters.

The No. 19 Blue Dragons (10-2, 7-2 Jayhawk West) and Broncbusters (4-8-1, 0-7-1) will meet for the second time this season at 2 p.m. on Saturday at the Salthawk Sports Complex.

The Blue Dragons moved into a tie for first play in the Jayhawk West with a 2-0 victory over No. 12-ranked Barton on Wednesday at the Salthawk Sports Complex.

Sophomore Hadlie Lowe scored a pair of goals and the back line and midfielders shut out the No. 2 scoring team in the nation despite behind outshot 29-3. Sophomore goalkeeper Madison Quarles had a career-high nine saves in the victory.

Earlier this season, the Blue Dragons defeated Garden City 5-0 on September 7 at Broncbusters Stadium. Lowe and Adriana Delgado had two goals each and Julia DeSouza scored as Hutchinson outshot Garden City 13-7.

Garden City is 0-8-1 in its last nine games, tying Kansas City 2-2 last Sunday. Garden City's last win was a 4-2 triumph over Southeast Community College on August 28 in Garden City.

The Blue Dragons are 5-0 this season at the Salthawk Sports Complex.
