The Hutchinson Community College women's basketball team shot a season-high 53.8 percent as the Blue Dragons matched a season-high seven-game winning streak on Wednesday.

Every player to suit up for the Blue Dragons scored as Hutchinson steadily pulled away from the Pratt Beavers for an 88-57 victory at the Sports Arena.

The Blue Dragons improved to 17-4 overall, 11-4 in the Jayhawk Conference. The Dragons also won their 12th consecutive game at the Sports Arena and their 17th-straight game over the Beavers.

Hutchinson shot 50 percent and hit five 3-pointers in the first 10 minutes in building a 23-11 lead. The Dragons knocked down 12 of 16 shots in the second half and pulled away for a 48-27 lead at halftime.

Four Blue Dragons scored in double figures led by sophomore Mya Williams' 19 points. Williams scored 11 points in the first quarter alone.

Freshman Monae Duffy posted her team-high sixth double-double of the season with 15 points and 13 rebounds.

Sophomore Natalie Payne scored a season-high 15 points on 7 of 10 shooting. Payne added five rebounds. Sophomore Morgan Browning had 14 rebounds, four assists and three steals.

The Blue Dragons hit 35 of 65 total shots, hitting 7 of 17 from 3-point range and 11 of 13 from the free-throw line. The Dragons out-rebounded Pratt 44-27 and committed just 12 turnovers. Freshman Journey Armstead had a game-high eight of Hutchinson's 24 team assists.

Pratt shot 33.9 percent for the game (20 of 59), going 7 of 24 from 3-point range and 10 of 14 from the foul line. Princess Anderson, the nation's leading scorer, had a game-high 17 points to lead Pratt. Isis Sanders added 16 points.

The Blue Dragons had a slim 10-9 lead midway through the first quarter. Williams hit a 3-pointer with 3:37 to play which started a 13-2 run to close the period. A Williams 3-poitner with 2:13 left in the quarter gave the Dragons their first double-figure lead.

Back-to-back Payne buckets in the paint gave the Dragons a 31-16 lead with 5:12 to play in the second quarter. Duffy hit a short jumper with 6 seconds to play which gave the Dragons a 48-27 halftime lead.

The Dragon lead increased to 30 for the first time with 2:48 to play on a Williams layup. Hutchinson had its largest lead of 31 with 5:09 to go in the fourth quarter when Browning hit two free throws for a 76-45 lead.
