ELKHORN, Nebraska – The NJCAA top-ranked Hutchinson Community College men's golf team posted back-to-back 8-over 296s on Monday and are in 10th place in the Big "O" Classic at Indian Creek Golf Club's Black Bird course.

Hutchinson is in 10th place after two rounds with a 36-hole score of 588. The Blue Dragons trail the University of St. Thomas and SIU-Edwardsville, who are tied for first after two rounds, by 14 strokes. Nebraska-Omaha is third at 576.

The Blue Dragons trail Dodge City, the only other Region VI team in the field of mostly NCAA Division I and Division II programs by one stroke entering the final round, which will be a 9 a.m. shotgun start on Indian Creek's Grey Hawk course.

Leading the way for the Blue Dragons is All-American Dominic Clemons, who is tied for 13th at even-par 144. Clemons had rounds of 71 and 73 in the first two round.

All-American Blake Saffell and freshman Louis Ross are tied for 34th at 4-over 148.

Saffell shot back-to-back 74s on Monday, bringing his first round back to 2-over after falling as high as 5-over for the round. Ross shot rounds of 73 and 75.

Freshman Alex Lindstrom is tied for 34th at 148 after rounds of 76 and 73.

Freshman Louis Galvin is tied for 62nd at 151. Galvin had rounds of 77 and 74.

Freshman Joey Langstraat is playing as an individual. He shot 166 after rounds of 84 and 82 and is 93rd.

Creighton's Shaun Campbell is the individual leader after a 6-under 138 (66-72).
